Relax, laugh, unwind, create memories, make yourself at home, and experience all Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has to offer. Perfect for any season and occasions, this chalet was built to accommodate skiers, bikers, families, wedding parties and reunions.
Originally built in 2004, however, the chalet was lost in a fire during the winter of 2014 and was just recently completed in 2017. This 5 bedroom + loft + media room sleeping areas, 6.5 bathroom home is one of the largest and newest homes at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.
There are 5 master bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and 2 with large walk-in closets. One bedroom and ensuite is wheel chair assessible. Mainfloor bedrooms has doors exiting on the huge deck running the full length of the back of the home. Downstairs bedroom and media room exit onto the back-yard patio.
The huge kitchen features a 6 burner gas stove with dual ovens, water spigot and stovetop griddle. There are 3 dishwashers, high capacity ice maker and a built in coffee/expresso machine. Fully provisioned with anything a discerning chef might desire to create the perfect family meal. Full bar seating perfect for pre dinner appetizers.
There is a large two car garage with a separate half garage and storage area for ski equipment and a large mud room for storing boots and ski clothing. Main floor laundry room is right off the mud room - perfect for drying those wet ski clothes.
The large living room connects right off the kitchen area with lots of seating and huge stone, floor to ceiling wood fireplace and dual exits onto both the back deck and the front lawn area. The back deck features a large gas grill and patio furniture overlooking the back yard and the creek below.
Downstairs features a large master bedroom with wood fireplace, ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, office desk, large flatscreen TV and queen murphy bed. A media room features a wet bar, 70" flatscreen TV, full bathroom off the media room and a queen murphy bed. Access to the back patio and the 8 person hot tub is off the media room exit.
This home features breathtaking mountain views, a gourmet kitchen, hot tub and is located directly on Cache Creek. Not to mention, it has heated floors in all bathrooms so no need to worry about cold feet during the winter season. Additionally, there are two laundry rooms and two Valcourt fireplaces along with an ample supply of firewood.

Summary: We used this beautiful house as a base to hike, white water raft and play in the mountains. It is spacious and great for large groups who love to cook and hang out together. Every room has a bathroom - no need to share. There is a washer dryer on main floor and basement. Teenagers enjoyed the rumpus room.

Summary: The house is beautiful and has multiple decks, each with spectacular views. Great location, close proximity to ski hill/gondola, golf course and town. We traveled with a large family group and were delighted to each have our own bedrooms and private bathrooms. Upstairs rooms were a bit hot and would benefit from a fan since there is no AC in the home. The house was spacious and very clean. The carpet on the stairs and in the basement was a bit worn/stained. The only complaint would be that there was only one set of towels in each bathroom. We were there for a week so needed to do laundry in order to have clean/ dry towels. Plenty of hot tub towels though. Coffee maker is a bit confusing and the settings seem to be messed up a bit. Our group would have preferred a pot option that could make coffee simply and quickly instead. Overall, the home is beautiful and spacious with exceptional views of kicking horse mountain. Would highly recommend this property.
